A fully fledged pre-college has been set up in order to prepare young musicians professionally for studying music. After passing an enrolment exam, an extensive curriculum guarantees talented children and young persons the opportunity to learn all-round skills and acquire knowledge necessary for a university study course. <br>
The Universität Mozarteum Salzburg also has a department for encouraging highly talented young musicians in order to promote the special personal development of children and young persons and provide the necessary guidance. The students in this programme of encouraging extreme talent are determined in a special selection process.<br>
The concept of the Leopold Mozart Institute is based on the results of talent research and academic principles.
